The French champion was warned three times by the French Agency for fight against doping (AFLD) for violating the rules of location over the last eighteen months, according to sports daily.

According to the newspaper, Jeannie Longo, often controlled from the beginning of his career in 1979, had passed on two occasions insufficiently precise in its training site. The third failure raised back in June when the samplers from the U.S. Agency mandated by the AFLD turned out in vain to his training site in the United States.
